Random pictures and thoughts

We spent one week in Ushuaia, arranging shipping for the motorcycles.  The shipping agent will ship them out in May, hoping to find something else to put in the container.  Then it will take 50-60 days to get to Long Beach, Californina. We have decided to ship the bikes via ocean vessel from Ushuaia.
We did some figuring on how much it would cost to ride back to Santiago, Chile, where most people ship from, versus how much it was going to cost to ship from Ushuaia and decided that from Ushuaia was what we wanted to do.  The weather was getting colder and it is time to head for the barn!
Here are some pictures taken while in Ushuaia area.

It is official, we made it to the end of the road and beyond!

We rented a car one day and rode out to the naval station which is a little farther south than the park is.  GPS reading S54'58.536

Are you sure the wind blows in Argentina?

Cute birds, are they penguins? I don't think so.

This ranch has to be one of the farthest south ranches you can drive to in entire world.

Tom, this one is for you, picked on a beach as far south as you can go in Argentina by car. Thank you for being our most faithful follower!
